Britney Toomey - Personal Chef
Britney Toomey holds a degree in culinary arts from the respected Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. Her experience in the service industry spans over 15 years.
Before moving to Portland in 2017, she worked as a personal chef in Austin, Texas. Her roots are in New England, where she fell in love with all things food. There, she worked with high-end catering companies, country clubs, fine-dining, & seafood restaurants. She also spent time working on farms and commercial fishing. She grew up in an oceanside farming community, and took full advantage of what it had to offer.
As a result, Britney has a well-rounded respect and understanding for the food system; the hospitality industry, and the true source of our food, be it local land or waters. She makes healthy, real food an integral part of her lifestyle, and strives to help others do so.
